You have my word.
I swear.
I promise.
Everybody knows those sentences. Those sentences are important ones. They are important and beautiful, as long as they stay exceptions.
As long as they emphasize someone’s intention.
As long as they especially emphasize the act behind them.
As long as they show the importance of realizing their content.
These words demand action.
No action – no need so say them.
It’s as easy as that.
Some people use those sentences too easily.
Some people do not think about their actual meaning.
Some people do not realize the necessity to act after speaking those words.
Some people just stroll around promising this and that.
Some people give their word to all sorts of things and then what?
Nothing.
No action.
No reflection.
Mostly people who do not keep their so called “promises” – lead me to an even worse conclusion:
If those people constantly need to promise things and then manage to never keep those, what value and liability do their everyday words haven then, anyway?
